Season's first rain !
So soothing, so refreshing,
Tiny drops are so rejuvenating.
Fragrant flowers flutter in cool breeze,
Withered pale leaves seem keen to breathe.
Drops dance on petals
Lilacs smile with happiness so subtle.
Everything now seems so fresh and green
Land is no longer dry and weaned.
Livid and thirsty earth now seems full of life;
Little pearl like drops are making dull pastures alive.
Trees, winds, flowers all seems sprituous
Earthly beauty looks splendid and tremendous.
Rainbow comes out
which was in veil of clouds since long;
To make himself a part of Nature's celebration which is on.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell that my this poem on rain
follow "end stopped" pattern; not 'direct rhyming' scheme. "End stopped" where the lines and rhyme of poetry terminate with punctuation.
